Hood Cleaning

Amazing Pressure Washing continually works to reduce the life safety hazards in commercial cooking environments. One of the most important issues to achieve this goal is to have your exhaust system cleaned on a regularly scheduled cleaning frequency set forth by the National Fire Protection Association. NFPA standards state the following:

 

“The entire exhaust system shall be inspected by a properly trained, qualified and certified company or person(s) acceptable to the authority having jurisdiction in accordance with this Exhaust System Inspection Schedule.”

“Upon inspection, if found to be contaminated with deposits from grease laden vapors, the entire exhaust system shall be cleaned by a properly trained, qualified and certified company or person(s) acceptable to the authority having jurisdiction. Hoods, grease removal devices, fans and ducts shall be cleaned to bare metal prior to the surfaces becoming heavily contaminated with grease or oily sludge.”

Amazing Pressure Washing management has been certified as an exhaust system inspector and is a member of the International Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Association. Our experience has shown that cooking operations will need to be cleaned on the same schedule as the required inspection so as not to become contaminated with greasy buildup.
